Assessment Services
Comprehensive psychological assessments delivered by registered psychologists across cognitive, learning, autism, ADHD and personality domains. Use the steps below to learn what to expect, or jump to fees and rebate options.
Assessment Process
We will give you a tentative assessment plan and send you intake and consent forms.
Your psychologist will gather information from you and confirm the assessment plan before you commit to further services.
Assessments usually involve consultations with schools, family members, and other professionals.
Your psychologist will carry out the assessment plan.
At the feedback session your psychologist will explore your results with you.
About Our Assessment Services
Our psychological assessments build a clear picture of how a child, adolescent, or adult is thinking, feeling, learning, and behaving. They are commonly used to identify autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, and learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia, as well as anxiety, mood, social and behavioural concerns.
We can also prepare assessments to support applications for VCAA Special Examination Arrangements, the Program for Students with Disabilities, NCCD, NDIS, and the Centrelink Disability Support Pension.
The number and length of sessions is tailored to the person and the type of assessment. Every assessment includes an intake and a feedback session, and you receive a comprehensive written report (and any questionnaires used) at no extra cost.
